Care: Wash with soapy water. Avoid harsh detergents. Never clean ultrasonically or steam clean.

Peridot is the August birthstone.   This bright medium green gemstone has been worn in jewelry for thousands of years. Some historians believe that at of the "emeralds" worn by Cleopatra was actually peridot. Beliefs associated with Peridot are success, peace, and good luck.

Firing test results; Silver 1200F-1HR-OK, Silver 1475F-1HR metallic, Silver 1650F-2HR Metallic, Bronze 1525F-2HR OK, Copper 1778F-30min OK.  Safe to torch fire.  Fire in carbon to avoid metallic coating
